Brymal Plants Restores Native Habitat at Airbnb

Updated: Sep 6

Brymal Plants planned and installed a native plant garden at a unique Airbnb rental, designed to enhance the natural landscape surrounding a glamping experience. The project involved the design, planning, and installation of 150 native plants to restore the local habitat, offering guests an authentic and eco-friendly outdoor experience.

Installation

The installation began with the eradication of invasive species, creating space for the native plants to flourish. A drip irrigation system was installed to ensure water efficiency, and Remedi mulch was applied to improve soil health, retain moisture, and suppress weeds.

A key component of this project was ecotype-specific planting and seeding. Brymal Plants carefully selected native species that are naturally adapted to the local environment, promoting a resilient and sustainable ecosystem. Native seed was collected and sewn for multiple years to ensure the habitat can blend well with the current plant and animal populations.

Updates:

Brymal Plants has continued to manage the site, ensuring the garden remains vibrant and the native plants grow as intended. This restoration project enhances the beauty of the glamping site and strengthens the local ecosystem by supporting native wildlife.
