Shaw's Agave typically forms dense clusters or colonies and can reach heights of up to 3 feet. The leaves are gray-green in color and may have a slight blue tint. The plant is monocarpic, meaning it flowers once in its lifetime, producing a tall flowering stalk adorned with yellow flowers before dying.
